Hospitals tend to charge much more than private, freestanding imaging centers for the same test, of the same quality. In addition to cost of the scan, you’ll be charged separately for a hospital radiologist to read the image, plus an additional facility fee. MYULTRASOUND Direct - Self Pay Healthcare
MYULTRASOUND offers a discounted, "Self Pay - at time of service payment system". We offer you an alternative to obtain your ultrasound services at a fraction of the cost. We are not affiliated with any particular hospital, have lower operational costs thus enabling us to pass on these savings to our patients.
What insurance does MYULTRASOUND accept?
MYULTRASOUND does not accept or participate in Medicare, Medicaid or any private insurance programs. The amount you pay may be applied toward your deductible based on the terms of your insurance plan but it will be your responsibility to file a claim and follow up with your insurance provider. We will provide you with a receipt for your paid services. We do not file any claims and can not be responsible in any manner for issues associated with your insurance company’s reimbursement policies.
Is all money due at time of service?
Yes. No payment plans are available so we can offer you the lowest prices available.
Do you accept credit cards and / or debit cards?
Yes, we accept anything with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover logo.
Can I get reimbursed from my company's Health Savings Account / Flex Savings Account?
Yes, by submitting your receipt to your HSA/FSA manager. You can also use your HSA/FSA debit card at time of service.
How do I submit a claim to my insurance company?
The cost of our imaging services is usually a fraction of the cost of the same procedure performed at hospital-affiliated imaging centers. MYULTRASOUND makes it easy by providing easy access, personalized service and responsible pricing. Below are examples of actual exam costs in the DFW area for those with insurance coverage.
