Women seeking an elective 3D/4D ultrasound with us must already be receiving prenatal care. This is an elective scan and not a replacement for the diagnostic ultrasound by your provider to confirm your due date, screen for fetal anomalies or medical issues. This is not covered by insurance. We are an out-of-network provider.

1.  Will my insurance cover the cost of my 3D/4D ultrasound?

No. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover the costs of 3D/4D ultrasounds. Since this ultrasound is elective and not intended to be a replacement for your diagnostic ultrasound ordered by your physician, you will need to pay the cost of your 3D/4D ultrasound as an out of pocket expense.

 

2. What are my payment options?

If you are having an elective procedure, you will need to pay the cost of this ultrasound as an out of pocket expense.  We accept cash and all major credit cards including Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, debit cards with a Visa or Master Card logo and Cash.   Payment is expected prior to services the day of your appointment.  Sorry, we do not accept checks.  

 

We do require a credit card to book and hold your appointment. We will not charge the credit card unless you fail to give 24 hours notice of a cancellation or of your need to reschedule the appointment already made. The cancellation/reschedule fee within 24 hours of your appointment is $35 regardless of any circumstances. We also ask clients to come 15 minutes early for paperwork and no more than 15 minutes late to their actual appointment time to avoid having us cancel the appointment due to time constraints. We apologize but we are not able to wait for late family members; so please let them know in advance.

 

3. Do you accept competitor coupons and offers?

No - Sorry we do not accept competitor coupons.  MYULTRASOUND works with your Obstetrician, midwife and nurse practicioner to provide quality patient care and maternal wellbieng.  Our focus is on you and your baby rather than offering gimmicks such as coupons, slashed pricing and holiday specials. We are not the typical 3D/4D imaging studio, instead we partner with the medical community to ensure patients have a safe and quality experience physicians can trust.  Our 3D/4D sessions are priced competitively within the market.  Physicians recommend our services because they are confident you will recieve the same high level of compassion and care they provide in their offices.

 

4. Is there any additional fee for twins?

No. We do not charge extra for twins.  Imaging of twins is more difficult and additional time is recommended,  We also recommend you select a scan session at least 30 minutes long.  It is recommended to have your scan session between 22 and 28 weeks for the best chance of capturing images of both babies. After 28 weeks, it  is more difficult to capture quality images.  If twins are scanned our goal is to capture images of atleast one baby or we will bring you back for a free rescan. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee images of both babies.  When scheduling your appointment, please inform us that you have twins.

 

5. What is your cancellation policy?

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you call 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time.  

 

Tardies: Please be sure to arrive on time for your appointment. Due to other client appointments and time constraints if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment but will do what we can to get you as much scan time as possible.  Please plan for traffic with you and your party. Please call ahead if your running late, if we have notice that you are running late we will try to move other customers ahead so that you can get your full scan time when you arrive. Unfortunately due to other scheduled appointments we cannot wait for other members of your party who may be running late.

 

No Show Policy: In case of no-show at your scheduled appointment, you will be required to provide a full pre-payment should you decide to re-schedule.  We reserves the right to charge a $35.00 fee for clients who fail to cancel or reschedule their appointments without any notification.  The $35.00 fee will be waived if you rebook and prepay at the time of cancelation.  

 

Who to notify of cancellation:  Call us at 214-932-9109, email us at appointments@myultrasound.com or go online to your confirmation email to cancel. If it is after normal scheduling hours, you may leave us a voice mail to avoid the $35 charge.

 

Free Scan

If you are late or do not show at your free re-scan under our  Free-Scan-Come-Back Policy, it will be forfeited.
